It looks like Google has officially joined the Barack Obama campaign and decided that its contribution would be to shut down any blog on the Google owned Blogspot.com blogging system that has an anti-Obama message.

Yes, it sure seems that Google has begun to go through its many thousands of blogs to lock out the owners of anti-Obama blogs so that the noObama message is effectively squelched. Thus far, Google has terminated the access by blog owners to 7 such sites and the list may be growing. Boy, it must be nice for Barack Obama to have an ally powerful enough to silence his opponents like that!

It isn't just conservative sites that Google's Blogger platform is eliminating. For instance, www.comealongway.blogspot.com has been frozen and this one is a Hillary supporting site. The operator of Come a Long Way has a mirror site off the Blogspot platform and has today posted this notice:

**UPDATE**

I have been hesitant to post this update because I cannot find a link to prove the claim, but it is starting to look like this Blogspot shut down of anti-Obama sites occurred because of a concerted effort by Obama supporters.

What they did was go to the Blogspot addresses found on the site of the NoObama coalition called Just Say No Deal and constantly hit the "mark as spam" link so that Google's Blogger would be flooded with spam warnings. This caused Google/Blogger to freeze the sites marked.

Apparently, this campaign merely took advantage of Google/Blogger's flawed system of finding spam blogs. So, it looks like what we have here is an Obama dirty trick to shut down political opposition. Looks like Obmatons aren't much for that whole democracy thing, eh?

Once I find a link to an Obama site talking about this attack, I will post it.

DEBKAfile’s Iranian sources report that an explosion Monday, June 30, at Bidganeh near the town of Shahriar 40 kilometers east of Tehran occurred at a military installation, not a civilian building as Tehran claimed.

At first, the Iranian authorities reported 15 people were killed, correcting this later to no casualties. The precise function of the targeted facility is not known. While Iran claimed the blast was caused by a gas leak, Western military sources are skeptical and believe the authorities are trying to cover up some sort of sabotage.

U.S. Northern Command, which protects North American airspace, told The Washington Times that TU-95 Bear bombers on 18 occasions the past year have skirted a 12-mile air defense identification zone that protects Alaska. The incursions prompted F-15s and F-22 Raptor fighters to scramble from Elmendorf Air Force Base and intercept the warplanes. The last incident happened in May.

"Putin is trying to get the military rejuvenated and trying to show they are a military power," said retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Thomas G. McInerney, who commanded NORAD's Alaska region. "He's doing it for a whole host of things. It's really muscle-flexing."

When told that 18 Russian incursions had been reported in 12 months, Mr. McInerney said, "That's a lot."

Mr. Putin, who relinquished the presidency in May and is now prime minister, has been at odds with President Bush over NATO expansion and the invasion of Iraq. At times, he has made strong anti-U.S. statements that stirred Cold War memories.

A NorthCom statement to The Times said, "Russia has indicated in open press reporting its intention to proceed with navigation and operational training."

Mr. McInerney said the incursions are the most sophisticated since the Cold War. He made the assessment based on an Air Force briefing he received last fall at Elmendorf.

The scene outside her downtown apartment building, near Wall and Pine Streets, after she plunged 9 stories in an apparent suicide.

A stunning Kazakh supermodel plunged to her death from the ninth floor of her lower Manhattan building on Saturday in an apparent suicide, police sources and neighbors said.

Ruslana Korshunova, 20, a long-haired lovely who once graced the cover of Russian Vogue, plummeted onto busy Water St. in the Financial District around 2:30 p.m., according to sources and building residents.

"There's no way she would have killed herself," said her crying friend, Kira Titeneva. "She loved life so much."

Witnesses to Korshunova's deadly spill had no idea that the stunner - shoeless and dressed in blue jeans and a purple tank top - was a famous model but noticed her beauty right away.

"All I saw was something moving out of the corner of my eye, and then boom," said Steve Metzger, 36. "It sounded like a bass drum when she hit the ground.

"She was a pretty girl."

Police said her family had not yet been notified.

"She was my best friend," Titeneva said. "I talked to her [Friday] night and we were talking all the gossip."

Investigators said there were no signs of a struggle inside Korshunova's apartment and believe she jumped from her balcony, which is next to a skyscraper construction site, a law enforcement source said.

"I turned around just as she was about 3 feet off the ground and then, boom, she hit," said witness Ahmed Saad, 22, who was manning a nearby halal food cart.

Dubbed "fashion's muse of the moment" by the Sunday Times of London in 2005, Korshunova distinguished herself with locks of hair that once draped down to her thighs.

She was often photographed with her mane cascading around her.

Long hair is a symbol of beauty in Kazakhstan, where she was born in the then-capital city of Almaty on July 2, 1987.

"She was like an angel," Titeneva said. "She was just working, working, working."

The friend said Korshunova had recently returned from spending a few weeks in Paris and did not appear troubled.

A doorman at her 12-story building - where Korshunova lived for months in a studio converted into a one-bedroom - said the model seemed happy when she came home about 4 a.m. Saturday.

"She came in this morning, she smiled, no sense of depression," said Mahmoud Nakeeb, 45. "She was a very sweet girl, always smiling, never depressed-looking."

Nakeeb said the green-eyed Korshunova was very down-to-earth, often dressed in simple pants and shorts. He had no clue she was an international model. "I feel bad," he said. "My heart is broken."

Korshunova's elite modeling agency, IMG, was grappling with the tragedy last night and gathering information about her death and work schedule.

"We're shocked and our heart goes out to her family," said spokesman Zach Eichman.

The nearly 5-foot-9 model's interest in German led to her discovery in 2003. A journalist from All Asia magazine visited her German language club and featured her photo in a story, according to an article in Continent, a Kazakh magazine.

During a flight, booker Debbie Jones of Models 1 spotted her picture in the magazine and called the article's author for help in tracking Korshunova.

"I saw her by chance and she looked like something out of a fairy tale!" Jones told British Vogue. "We had to find her and we searched high and low until we did! She's really incredible, with feline features and timeless beauty."

FOX News reported that 25% of Americans polled disagreed with the decision regarding the courts findings that the Washington DC Gun Ban was unconstitutional. 63% agreed with the decision and another 12% were UNSURE. Four of the communist judges voted against the right for Americans to bear arms, this was a close call and a dangerous one at that. CARACAS, Venezuela: President Hugo Chavez says that Venezuela is fortifying "all levels of cooperation" with Russia, including the purchase of more arms.

Chavez says he spoke with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin by telephone, and his defense minister will visit Moscow on Wednesday for a series of meetings.

The socialist president says he's grateful to Putin for helping Venezuela buy arms in the face of what he sees as a U.S. "embargo." Venezuela, however, is the fifth largest supplier of oil to the U.S.

Speaking at a military event on Tuesday, Chavez said Venezuela is not afraid of the U.S. and that his country is experiencing an "armed revolution."

Venezuela spent US$4 billion on international arms purchases between 2005 and 2007. Most came from Russia and China.

No current European group can solve security problems - Medvedev

KHANTY-MANSIISK, June 27 (RIA Novosti) - None of the current European organizations, including the OSCE, the EU and NATO, is capable of solving Europe's security problems, the Russian president said Friday.

"None of these organizations can solve these problems completely," Dmitry Medvedev told journalists after a Russia-EU summit held in West Siberian city of Khanty-Mansiisk.

"It is obvious that common European security is inseparable. It must not disintegrate into separate blocs and unions and be provided by a few countries, since we speak about the security of the whole European continent," the Russian president said.

Medvedev also said NATO is the most powerful military and political bloc.

"But for obvious reasons it [NATO] cannot guarantee security because not all countries are members. Therefore, this organization is not universal," he said.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who also attended the summit, said afterward that European officials were interested in Russia proposals for a common European security agreement.

"They were inspired by discussions and ideas voiced by the Russian president in Berlin," Lavrov said. "They were genuinely interested in the initiative to work out an agreement on the common European security and to hold a summit on the issue."

On an official visit to Germany in early June, President Medvedev called for a legally binding European security treaty to be signed at a pan-European conference.

Medvedev said a new security arrangement should be based on "pure" national interests, not skewed by ideological motives. He added that "organizations operating in the Euro-Atlantic region" could also join it.

Satan Came to me in a DREAM

This is the 3^rd time that I have had a dream similar to this. I was driving somewhere with my father and we walked down a creepy staircase and we get down on our knees. A large man, about 40 years old with a dark brown beard, glasses and a dark rain coat approaches us. He walks right up to me and he asks to see my hands. After examining them, he says “you are a very interesting and controversial man I see” and he then quoted a verse from the Koran. (I think he said Surah 11:33)

I just nodded my head and as he leans down toward my face with his, he lets out a roar that was so powerful, it penetrated my whole body. I immediately was woken up.

I never ever have dreams like this. My dreams (that I can remember) can be violent once in a while, but they are nothing like this. Satan comes in many forms and I feel that he is coming to me in my dreams due to me trying to warn everyone of the danger that is coming. He is trying to scare me away, because I am exposing him and his plan daily on my blog. I am fighting Satan, through my attacks on liberalism, communism and Islam. I feel that Satan is using deception to confuse people and that he is controlling the wack job liberals in the media. They are doing his work and we must expose and defeat them.

I ran to my computer at 5am to write this, before I forgot the details, because I usually do forget my dreams. For some reason I keep remembering this one.

A Massachusetts politician and defense attorney has touched off a firestorm with his shocking public vow to torment and "rip apart" child rape victims who take the witness stand if the state legislature passed stiff mandatory sentences for child sex offenders.
Rep. James Fagan, a Democrat, made the comments during debate last month on the state House floor.

"I'm gonna rip them apart," Fagan said of young victims during his testimony on the bill. "I'm going to make sure that the rest of their life is ruined, that when they’re 8 years old, they throw up; when they’re 12 years old, they won’t sleep; when they’re 19 years old, they’ll have nightmares and they’ll never have a relationship with anybody.”
Fagan said as a defense attorney it would be his duty to do that in order to keep his clients free from a "mandatory sentence of those draconian proportions." Those comments drew the ire of local activists as well as colleagues.

In a letter to Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and other key leaders, Alaska Republican Gov. Sarah Palin urges Congress to allow drilling for oil on the Outer Continental Shelf and the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in northern Alaska, an area she calls "the most promising unexplored petroleum province in North America."

"What will it take for Congress to enact comprehensive energy policy?" Palin asks in the letter, dated yesterday. "In my opinion, the debate about energy policy is no longer theoretical and abstract. Our failure to enact an energy policy is having real consequences for every American in their daily lives and has begun to affect America's place in the world."

Russia prepares for future combat in the Arctic

MOSCOW, June 24 (RIA Novosti) - Russia must be ready to fight wars in the Arctic to protect its national interests in a region that contains large and untapped deposits of natural resources, a high-ranking military official said in an interview published Tuesday.

"After several countries contested Russia's rights for the resource-rich continental shelf in the Arctic, we have immediately started the revision of our combat training programs for military units that may be deployed in the Arctic in case of a potential conflict," Lt. Gen. Vladimir Shamanov, who heads the Defense Ministry's combat training directorate, told the Krasnaya Zvezda (Red Star) newspaper.

Under the Law of the Sea, coastal states can declare an Exclusive Economic Zone stretching 200 nautical miles (370 km) from the shore, but this area can be extended if it is a part of the country's continental shelf or shallower waters. Some Arctic shelves extend for hundreds of miles, creating the possibility of overlapping territorial claims.

Last August, as part of a scientific expedition, two Russian mini-subs made a symbolic eight-hour dive beneath the North Pole to bolster the country's claim that the Arctic's Lomonosov Ridge lies in the country's economic zone. A titanium Russian flag was also planted on the seabed. Russia first claimed the territory in 2001, but the UN demanded more evidence.

The expedition irritated a number of Western countries, particularly the U.S. and Canada.

The general said wars "are won or lost long before they start" and combat training was crucial for the success of any future military operations.

"The Americans, for example, recently conducted the Northern Edge 12-day large-scale exercise in Alaska, involving about 5,000 personnel, 120 aircraft and several warships," Shamanov said, adding that Russia could not ignore such a show of military force near vital Arctic regions. I am curious if this is true or not since the US Government is so secretive on Russia and their antics.

He said the Defense Ministry would drastically change its approach to the combat training of highly-professional military units in the Leningrad, Siberian and Far Eastern military districts, which could participate in potential conflicts in the Arctic.

He also said two expert groups in his directorate were closely studying combat training models based on computer-assisted combat simulations that have been adopted by some foreign military's.

"We may propose to the defense minister setting up a company-level fully computerized training center at one of the former testing sites," the general said.

Russia's General Staff is planning to determine the new composition and size of the Armed Forces by the beginning of July.

Meanwhile, the Defense Ministry has already announced plans to expand the presence of the Russian Navy in the world's oceans, including the Arctic, and extend the operational range of submarines deployed in the northern latitudes.

"Nothing is wrong anymore," said Sen. Ruben Diaz Jr., a minister and Bronx Democrat. "We have no more morals, no more traditional values."

Assemblyman Michael Benjamin said the policy could prove to be "disruptive" inside the facilities.

"I understand the need for the staff to be tolerant and respectful of those who are gay or transgendered because it sends a signal to the young people there, but I draw the line at clothing," Benjamin said.

A woman is mourning after her dog was killed by a stray jolt of electricity from a light pole in Queens.

Celia Sing says she was taking her 7-year-old Siberian husky, Sebastian, for a walk on Sunday near her apartment in Long Island City when he stopped at the pole.

Sing says her dog fell to the ground and began shaking uncontrollably before dying right in front of her eyes.

Because of the holiday weekend, Sing said she was unable to get answers from the Department of Transportation.

After Golitsyn defected, many other KGB agents defected also claiming that Golitsyn was lying and that he was involved in a plot to fool the West. This decision put ALL AMERICANS, (liberal or not) at risk and I feel the decision is biased due to the 'liberal' views of these particular judges and not based on the constitution. I also feel that it was politically motivated.

Where is the outrage? I also agree with Michael Savage that George Bush is afraid to do the right thing here, because of the anti-Republican/anti-Bush media will go against him no matter what he does or says. The liberals are cheering this decision, but they will soon be cheering to their own demise.

What will it take to save this country? Martial law? Will it take that to weed out the infiltrators, insurgents and communists in the Congress, Senate, Supreme and lower courts and of course the media? Time is running out and Bush can NOT leave this country in the hands of Hussein Obama and 'Old man' McCain. The Republican party should boot McCain out into the street, because he does NOT stand for OUR CONSERVATIVE VALUES.

I would support Bush 100% if he arrested these Supreme Court judges, because they clearly are NOT acting in the best interest of the people and the Constitution.

The Michelle Obama Rant Tape was filmed between June 26th - July 1st 2004 in Chicago, IL at the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition Conference at Trinity United Church: specifically the Women's Event. Michelle Obama appeared as a panelist alongside Mrs. Khadijah Farrakhan and Mrs. James Meeks.

Bill Clinton spoke at the confernece, as did Bill Cosby and other speakers, but not at the panel Michelle attended. Michelle Obama spoke at the WOmen's Event, but referenced Bill Clinton in her rant - his presence at the conference was the impetus for her raving, it seems. For about 30 minutes, Michelle Obama launched into a rant about the evils of America, and how America is to blame for the problems of Africa. Michelle personally blamed President Clinton for the deaths of millions of Africans. she said Ameica is responsible for the genocide of the Tutsis and other ethnice groups.

She then launched into an attack on "whitey" and talked about solutions to black on black crime in the realm of diverting those actions onto White America! Her rant was fueled by the crows: they reacted strongly to what she said, so she got more passionate and enraged, and that's when she competely loses it and says things that have made the mouths drop of everyone who's seen this.

The "tape" is a DVD that Trinity United sold on its website, and possibly offered free for download up until March 2008 when Trinity's site was scrubbed and the DVDs were no longer offered for sale. The outburst happened just one month before the 2004 Democratic Convention, when Barack HUSSEIN Obama delivered the keynote address.

Beyond Obama's Beauty

It's an amazing time to be alive in America. We're in a year of firsts in this presidential election: the first viable woman candidate; the first viable African-American candidate; and, a candidate who is the first frontrunning freedom fighter over 70. The next president of America will be a first.

We won't truly be in an election of firsts, however, until we judge every candidate by where they stand. We won't arrive where we should be until we no longer talk about skin color or gender.

Now that Barack Obama steps to the front of the Democratic field, we need to stop talking about his race, and start talking about his policies and his politics.

The reality is this: Though the Democrats will not have a nominee until August, unless Hillary Clinton drops out, Mr. Obama is now the frontrunner, and its time America takes a closer and deeper look at him.

Some pundits are calling him the next John F. Kennedy. He's not. He's the next George McGovern. And it's time people learned the facts.

Because the truth is that Mr. Obama is the single most liberal senator in the entire U.S. Senate. He is more liberal than Ted Kennedy, Bernie Sanders, or Mrs. Clinton.
Never in my life have I seen a presidential frontrunner whose rhetoric is so far removed from his record. Walter Mondale promised to raise our taxes, and he lost. George McGovern promised military weakness, and he lost. Michael Dukakis promised a liberal domestic agenda, and he lost.

Yet Mr. Obama is promising all those things, and he's not behind in the polls. Why? Because the press has dealt with him as if he were in a beauty pageant.

Mr. Obama talks about getting past party, getting past red and blue, to lead the United States of America. But let's look at the more defined strokes of who he is underneath this superficial "beauty."

Start with national security, since the president's most important duties are as commander-in-chief. Over the summer, Mr. Obama talked about invading Pakistan, a nation armed with nuclear weapons; meeting without preconditions with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who vows to destroy Israel and create another Holocaust; and Kim Jong Il, who is murdering and starving his people, but emphasized that the nuclear option was off the table against terrorists — something no president has ever taken off the table since we created nuclear weapons in the 1940s. Even Democrats who have worked in national security condemned all of those remarks. Mr. Obama is a foreign-policy novice who would put our national security at risk.

Next, consider economic policy. For all its faults, our health care system is the strongest in the world. And free trade agreements, created by Bill Clinton as well as President Bush, have made more goods more affordable so that even people of modest means can live a life that no one imagined a generation ago. Yet Mr. Obama promises to raise taxes on "the rich."

How to fix Social Security? Raise taxes. How to fix Medicare? Raise taxes. Prescription drugs? Raise taxes. Free college? Raise taxes. Socialize medicine? Raise taxes. His solution to everything is to have government take it over. Big Brother on steroids, funded by your paycheck.

Finally, look at the social issues. Mr. Obama had the audacity to open a stadium rally by saying, "All praise and glory to God!" but says that Christian leaders speaking for life and marriage have "hijacked" — hijacked — Christianity. He is pro-partial birth abortion, and promises to appoint Supreme Court justices who will rule any restriction on it unconstitutional. He espouses the abortion views of Margaret Sanger, one of the early advocates of racial cleansing. His spiritual leaders endorse homosexual marriage, and he is moving in that direction. In Illinois, he refused to vote against a statewide ban — ban — on all handguns in the state. These are radical left, Hollywood, and San Francisco values, not Middle America values.

The real Mr. Obama is an easy target for the general election. Mrs. Clinton is a far tougher opponent. But Mr. Obama could win if people don't start looking behind his veneer and flowery speeches. His vision of "bringing America together" means saying that those who disagree with his agenda for America are hijackers or warmongers. Uniting the country means adopting his liberal agenda and abandoning any conflicting beliefs.

But right now everyone is talking about how eloquent of a speaker he is and — yes — they're talking about his race. Those should never be the factors on which we base our choice for president. Mr. Obama's radical agenda sets him far outside the American mainstream, to the left of Mrs. Clinton.

It's time to talk about the real Barack Obama. In an election of firsts, let's first make sure we elect the person who is qualified to be our president in a nuclear age during a global civilizational war.
